The big silkscreen print Occlusion was based on a tiny gouache study of an energetic river clouded over by a different world. The version that was made into a flat mat was printed on cotton with latex bleebs that degrade the impression, revealing the process: 4 screens: the primary triad is overprinted with transparent green ink. Midway, the screens are reclaimed, the acetates flipped and re-burned, and the screens printed again in a half-drop. 2018
