old Shetland seater, sacks of fluff and rice that make it really heavy, along with beads donated by Jim Drain to the class he was teaching when I began with it, and clanking beads from Wolf Myrow, silkscreen print “Occlusion” on rubberized cotton, yarn, string, fancy remnants from Maharam, Lisa’s mom’s turtlenecks. The hanger is an insulated knob for a telephone pole screwed into a chair back I found on the beach. The rope I also croched in Jim’s class.
